COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

DUBAI EXHIBITION CENTRE (DEC) ADHERES TO ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS SET OUT BY EXPO 2020 AND GOVERNMENT AUTHORITIES, INCLUDING DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM AND COMMERCE MARKETING (DTCM), DUBAI ECONOMIC DEPARTMENT (DED), DUBAI HEALTH AUTHORITY (DHA) AND DUBAI MUNICIPALITY (DM) TO ENSURE THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF EVERYONE ON OUR PREMISES.

ON-SITE MEASURES

All visitors must comply with COVID-19 precautions on public and private transport modes

All visitors must maintain 2 meters social distancing at the time of this publication.

All visitors must wear a face mask.

All visitors must sanitize or wash their hands regularly

All visitors who are unwell must not visit the Expo 2020 site

All visitors who feel unwell while at Expo 2020 must immediately seek onsite medical advice

VACCINATION

As part of a comprehensive COVID-19 risk management plan, all visitors and delegates aged 18 and above will be required to present a proof of vaccination OR a negative PCR Test taken within the previous 72 hours to access DEC.

Expo 2020 retains the flexibility to introduce new measure in accordance with changes in UAE legal requirements.

OVERSEAS VACCINATION CERTIFICATES

All overseas attendees (i.e.: organizers, exhibitors, visitors and speakers) who have received the 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in their home country will need to register their vaccination before travelling to the UAE though the ICA UAE Smart App or visit

Upon approval of the vaccination certificate, they will be able to access it through Al Hosn App (Dubai’s COVID-19 record app)

PCR TESTING FACILITY AT DEC
  • Operator: G42 Biogenix Laboratory
  • Location: South Concourse
  • Timings: 7 days a week, from 07:00 to 23:00 hours.
  • Timings: Digitally stamped and sent via email by request only.

SERVICES AVAILABLE AND PRICES

RT-PCR: AED 100

Test results forwarded via email available only upon request (witin 12-16 hours). Test results are sent through SMS and appears through ALHOSN App

RAPID PCR: AED 350

Test results forwarded via email available only upon request (within 5 hours). Test results are sent through SMS and appears through ALHOSN App

EXPRESS PCR: AED 500

Test results forwarded via email available only upon request (within 2 hours). Test results are sent through SMS and appears through ALHOSN App

SERVICES AVAILABLE AND PRICES

LAMP PCR: AED 300

Test results forwarded via email available only upon request (within 2 hours). Test results are sent through SMS. This will not appear through ALHOSN App

Payment: Credit Card ONLY. Cash payment is not available. A digital official receipt shall be provided for any form of payment by request ONLY and sent through emails.

Registration: Visitors will be asked to present either an emirates id or a passport and fill their information before taking the test (clear digital copy is accepted). Verification of clients data will be done upon registration.
